The Good Fight exudes a sense of artistic freedom not present on Oddisee's previous releases, as a result. The Good Fight announces the success of Odd's debut album, which referred to the confusion he felt about his artistic journey. Oddisee unveiled Rock Creek Park, a largely instrumental collection dedicated to his own bicycle rides through the sprawling DC landscape in 2011, his most lauded project to date, according to Oddisee. Odd is the mature figurehead of DC's underground rap circles, with rappers yU and Uptown XO leading the Diamond District's 2009 debut, In the Ruff. Oddisee's On his 2015 album The Good Fight, a brilliant retro soul of Aloe Blacc mingling with Kendrick Lamar's literate and alive lyrics, underground rapper Oddisee's work is more persuasive than ever, an excellent album that aims to crossover but doesn't pull any punches.
